Microsoft Lifecam- VX 3000is playing up!!!?

I bought a Lifecam vx 3000 ages ago...

LOL i havnt been bovvered to solve the problem with it and i couldnt solve any problems with it...

I have a windows xp compaq pc.

When i want to make a movie on windows movie maker

I always get up my microsoft Lifecam- VX 3000 up on the screen.. it does work when i do a couple of clips that i do but at every start it freezes for about 10 seconds- (After a few clips it could completley freeze - only the lifecam sreen which is hard to close and wont come back up a again).

So if i want my lifecam back on i have to shut down the computer and restart it...

I have no clue what is wrong with it but i sure hope you can help with my problem!

You might need to install updated drivers for the webcam. This Microsoft site should help:
