I have a legal copy of Office 2007 that is licensed for installation on one computer. I have installed and registered this software properly. I'm going to buy a new PC and want to re-install Office on my new PC. What are the rules regarding the licence? Does it transfer, do you have to contact Microsoft?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Microsoft Office 2007 Licence?pc security
If your copy of Office 2007 came preinstalled on your current computer by the computer manufacturer, then it is probably an OEM (not retail) version, which is generally licensed for installation only on the computer that the software came with, and cannot be installed on or transferred to any other computer. To see whether this applies to your particular copy of Office, read Section 2 "Installation and Use Rights" of your Office 2007 Software License Terms, which you can access by starting Word 2007 and clicking on Office Button | Word Options | Resources | About | View the Microsoft Software License Terms.

No, just install it.
hello you ok ?
i suggest that you remove the software off your old system then it will be legal for you to install this on your new system.
