i have been able to use my microsoft word enterprise 2007 but when i try to validate my office in the website they say it failed,but i managed to download the update,

so can i still download update in future?

Why did it fail to validate? Is it a legal copy?

Normally, if a MS program fails to validate you can not get updates.

If it is a leagl copy that you purchased, I would be calling Microsoft and find out what is happing. They are very helpfull.

probably not. If you have a legal version, you should call Microsoft.
you are probably trying to use a version of Ms office that was prevously installed in another machine.Because Microsoft allows you to use a CD in only one machine or in other words a single installation per CD,your version cannot be activated.You might notice that several features are disabled that is if it opens at all.In that case you can call a Microsoft representative in your location.He/she will give you instructions on how to activate it. Otherwise you might have to acquire a volume licence agreement with MS to allow you to do multiple installations using a single CD
