Microsoft Office Help.?

Okay so I just bought a copy of microsoft office from a friend of mine after they got rid of their computer. The only problem is they don't have the box anymore and I didn't know I would need the security code thing and no I'm kinda screwed. Because I can't call the company and get another code because I don't have proof I purchased the product(also on the box) So if anyone out there knows some way I can get it to work I would really appericiate it. I have a Spanish report due which I have to email my teacher meaning it has to be done in Office for it to work on her computer. Please Help!

Microsoft Office Help.?pc security

Usually Microsoft office comes with a product key and then you have to call Microsoft to get the authorization code. if you have the cd and the cd case you should be able to find the product key, otherwise I suggest getting your money back

Also, as a temporary fix (so you can do your spanish report) I suggest installing Open Office at www.openoffice.org.

Open office is a free program and you can save documents in Microsoft word format.

I really hope this helps.

Good Luck

Microsoft Office Help.?symantic

suck it up and use open office a free alternate, or ring friend and ask then to ring microsoft as they may have their name and address on a database and cough up a key for them
You bought a useless disk. Without the license and the code your dead in the water.
nice try mr policeman.
it should be written on the disk with a felt tip pen.

if it is not then the guy who owned it is not to clever.
