Microsoft Word 2007 - Pens tool ( Felt tip pen, ball point pen etc. )?

I'm running Microsoft Word 2007 and I'm using a standard laptop with no tablet PC function.

I am aware that it is possible to activate the Pen Tools on a non-tablet system such as a desktop or a basic laptop. Which also means drawing on Word documents with the simple Mouse.

Could anyone please teach me how to activate the Pen tools, be it downloading a file from the net or is there some other way which I can use the Pen function now? I am able to locate the tool but it is not able for usage.

I believe Microsoft officially calls this Handwriting Recognition. If you scroll down through this MS knowledge base article you'll find detailed instructions to install, enable and disable the Handwriting Recognition.
