Microsoft messenger says my password is incorect, but I haven't changed it!?

Microsoft messenger says my password or name is incorrect, but I haven't changed anyhting, logging on through the website doesn't work either, than it says Windows live ID can't be reached throug the site.

How can I solve this or contact the helpdesk by phone!?

Microsoft messenger says my password is incorect, but I haven't changed it!?antivirus software

If you click on the 'forgot password' when trying to sign in there is a way to reset your password. You can either:

- Use a secret question, you would have answered when creating your Windows Live ID

- Or use a backup email adress

Also, are you sure your caps-lock isn't on or a silly brother or sister hasn't changed it?

Hope That Helps!

the only thing i can think of is you could click the forgot your password link or go to microsoft.com and look for tech support they should have a number that you can call

Or is it possible you might be misspelling it

Or is your caps lock key on if that's on that can affect your password too

Passwords are case sensitive

I change my passwords every so often too

Someone could have Hacked into your computer too but then you never know.

You May Need To get a whole New Windows Live ID too
