Microsoft word 2002?

My Microsoft Word 2000 started giving me problems. When I am typing a document and want to go to a second page it won't go further then pp one. I have tried doing a page break and putting it on continuous text but have to do a cut and page. I also cannot put my document on double spacing. After the lst page it just disappears. What could be wrong?

check the below in your document first, if its not ticked then:

in windows help type edit template

find out how to edit normal.dot

then click on format %26gt; paragraph%26gt; line and page breaks %26gt; tick the orphan control box

apply to all word documents based on that template

to explain the tick boxes type control pagination in the word help
