every question ive looked at says that microsoft is locked. i thought it was impossible. but apparently it is, because it happened to me. i downloaded it off the website, home and student edition. [also every answer to the question says your trial has expired. but pay attention.]

and it says my trial wont expire till MAY 18, 2008. how can i unlock it?

is this to your own computer? did someone download a trial before you and it expired then?
need more answers, since, if you share a computer, once a program has been downloaded and it has expired, and uninstalled, it leaves behind a code stating that you've alreayd installed the trial version previously.
