Microsoft takeover?

One of my friends said that when microsoft takes over yahoo.They are going to get rid of messanger.Is this true ?And when would it happen?

of course it is a monopolistic move by Microsoft- first they take hotmail, now yahoo which is connected to google. I guess the small players like excite, pegasus, etc will soon flourish or die down (all bought by microsoft) and there goes your privacy and we'll be under control by Microsoft.

i heard they are keeping messenger, answers, all that stuff if they buy yahoo!
I hope Google takes over (like Wabby said) and changes YA. Maybe they will actually CARE about YA, unlike Yahoo, and seek to make changes (i.e. get rid of the users who come here just to make other users unhappy)
I just saw it on the news that Google is trying to buy Yahoo. I don't know if that'll happen. It might be good to have a change, they might do something about the trolls on here!
O gawd that will be horrible. Has anybody seen hotmail and msn messenger recently? As usual because of Microsoft, its full of bugs and just doesn't work properly...
