Microsoft Word 2007: I keep on getting dots in between my words?

Microsoft Word 2007: The hidden formatting symbols are unselected, but I keep on getting dots in between my words. I've checked just about everything. It looks like this:

How do I make them go away?

disable spacing.

on the toolbar click the backwards p:

They are paragraph marks.

In Home tab and in the Paragraph box, click on the backwards P and then it go away.
