Microsoft Office help ?

My friend just asked me this question.

And I don't have any idea what the answer is !

The question was :

She has just bought herself a brand new laptop -

And she got a disc called Microsoft Works 8

She installed it and found out it doesn't have excel

Which she needs as she does a lot of graphs on this as she does A level maths.

She wanted to know if the disc should have excel on it, as when I got my brand new laptop I had excel .

Anyone know why she hasn't got excel, and how does she get it ?

no it dosnt have excell go to openoffice.org and download the free office thats compatable with microsoft

to open excel sreadsheets you need microsoft office you can down load trial versions free but they have a time limit or you can get a copy from someone with the code or buy it try this site for a free limited trial version

"Works and Exell are two different programs....both are office suites but not the same!!

If you friend wants Exell...she will need to buy it and it's not cheap or she could download "OpenOffice" which is free and a better program than MSOffice!

You get Excel supplied with Microsoft Office which also has Micrsoft Word.

Works is not the same program.
