I have a document on microsoft word and i need it double spaced for a writing contest i'm entering. I have the font set at 12 point and a one inch margin.
PLEASE help! I DONT want to go through the entire thing clicking 'enter' after every stinking line.
Answer as soon as possible plz!

You don't have to change any paragraph or font options.
Just press Ctrl + 2, and it will become double-spaced.
Press Ctrl + 1, and it will become single-spaced again. No need to go back and forth switching your options over and over.

In Word 97-2003: click Format, click paragraph, select spacing to 2
In Word 2007: with the Home tab selected, click the paragraph launcher (the little symbol in the lower right of the paragraph section), select spacing to 2.
Highlight the text you want to adjust.
Format --%26gt; Paragraph
Line Spacing ... adjust to what you want.
Edit %26gt; Select All, then go to Format %26gt; Paragraph and set line spacing to "double".
select all, go to format paragraphs one of the options line or spacing you choose double.
