You can't download the real powerpoint for free- thats illegal.
Try Open Office. Its free and has "Power Point" as well as "Word" and "Excel".

Sorry there is no legal way round this. Software programers got to eat too.
You can download a trial version from http://www.trymicrosoftoffice.com which can be used for 60 days. This is the only legal way to get Microsoft Office for free, but there is an alternative: OpenOffice.org http://download.openoffice.org This is a free office suite with even more functionalities. You can open, edit and create new PowerPoint files with it. (You can also save the presentation in the OpenDocument format which is the international standard, not what Microsoft uses.)
