Microsoft Help.....???

On my computer when i go on microsoft word the spell checker doesn't work but....When i transfer that document to notepad then back to a different word document it works.

And it also works on Publisher.

I need help please...?

If your computer is uptodate with updates and the spellchecker doesnt work I am wondering if you are talking about when you type in capital letters because by default words in caps or with figures in won't be checked unless you go into Tools, Options, Spelling and uncheck the options for ignore words in uppercase and the one for ignore words with numbers. You can just as easily make mistakes when typing in caps and a lot of women with long nails mistakenly put a number in a word when typing on the qwerty line.

Ok here is the deal. I am pretty sure you don't keep up with updates, so microsoft disable some futures just because to secrity flaws. So you won't sue them later if you lost your whole life gathering.

So go to office update. I hope you have a version that allows auto update and if not manually update yur office with all the patches, if its been couple years, it culd be 100 even if its been 3 months, maybe 30 of them, you know how microsoft is, they never get it right first an second and 15th time
