I am making a website (probably), and I need a software which lets me use it's shapes, fonts and things of that sort in order to make my logo, buttons etc. Is it legal to use microsoft's office to do that without getting sude? (please escuse my spelling)

If the shapes and fonts are within a program that allows you to do such a design than it must be ok. I would not try to use anything from a web site without permission.

I would not try to use any design elements that are part of the program such as menu bar icons before checking.

Yes you can, it is used by many for the same purpose. You cannot hovever, sell these fonts and shapes to others.
